Whenever I try saving a user preset in Komplete kontrol, inside my DAW (by clicking on "file" and "save as") I get the message above. In standalone mode it does work though.
Is this on Mac? If so make sure Reaper has full disk access
Not such problem in Cubase. What DAW are you using and which Komplete Kontrol version?

Ah, yes that pretty much amounts to the same thing, I thought it sounded like a permissions issue

I'm experiencing the same in Ableton. Even with default NI instruments:
And although all apps have full disk access
Anybody know what I'm missing or what setting prevent this?
