S61 MK3 DAW light: Can't get back to browsing

New S-61 MK3 here and loving it so far. Works well in Cakewalk Sonar except once the DAW light illuminates above the large circular knob, I can't get back to the Browse function without powering the keyboard off and back on. Am I missing something obvious?

Hello,

if you have selected a track with kontakt or komplete kontrol loaded it should work, you should be able to browse.

It doesn't. My workaround is either to power the keyboard off and on or just add a new track in my DAW. I haven't discovered what triggers the DAW light to remain on yet, but will be more observant as I learn its behavior in the future. Thanks for your note.

Definitely try what you can, I don't own that keyboard unfortunately, so I can't help you with that any further I fear. But if the DAW integration works and it connects after you restarted, the background services seems to run, have you tried with komplete kontrol and just kontakt loaded?

Yes. I'm currently trying different Mackie Control settings to see if there's any effect. Thanks for your very helpful suggestions!
