Play Assist feature with Apple M1 Macs

Tried Play Assist feature earlier and it doesn't appear to be working for me.

Neither the light nor the keys appear to affected by activation scales or chords. Is this a known issue with M1 Silicon Macs?

If so I'll just wait for the patch and stop trying to make it work

Thanks

Play Assist is a feature of Komplete Kontrol 3.0 plug-in, so Kontrol Mk3 needs to be connected to that in order to use it today.

Right now, we are working on putting Play Assist on the device itself so that you can use it with any plug-in so watch out for that update most likely early next year.

Thanks. Will try again in a bit and let you know here if it’s still an issue.

This is good news... I read another comment from an NI person about how this will be "unlocked" by another firmware update in the future.

I'm hoping that the estimate of "early next year" is a cautious statement and the reality is we'll see before end of 2023.

I'm betting a lot of useful things are gonna evolve under the "Play Assist" concept in the years ahead. Hope the on-device processor has the "umph" for my imagination!
