We need more info - what plugin you used inside, how many groups you have etc.

You can always bouce some tracks to audio to avoid heavy cpu load. This video is suited for Maschine 2 SW but you can do it inside Maschine+ most tips too.

I use Maschine+ (no laptop necessary)

The first time it happened I used only 5 groups:

A Black Mambo Kit; B Carrot Cake kit; C 1 sound pad; D 5 sound pads and 1 loop pad; E How it is kit

    cpu 49%

plug-ins: i'm not sure what you mean by that. I only use the internal plug-ins from the maschine. In this project only in slot D like flanger and grain delay.

While performing; a scene was playing, maschine stopped, I could not do anything on the maschine anymore.

The second time, I used a lot of groups (16). for every song I used one group. So I had the whole setlist in 1 project. This is what I do most of the time, but always take care that cpu is not too high. In this case cpu was 54%

    Is this enough information?

    Kind regards Hilda

The numer of Groups is irrelevant, relevant is the total number of loaded instruments (Sampler, Audio, Bass/Drum/Poly synth, FM8, Massive, Monark, Prism, Kontakt) and effects in each Sound. Kits from Expansions tend to use lots and lots of effects. Sometimes a single sound of a Kit can lead to CPU spikes. Therefore you should remove all Sounds you don’t need, and try to disable or remove effects that are less important to your music.

Ouch that sucks. I would ask NI if there is a crash dump / log file they can analyse for you.
