Is Kontakt 7 fully functional standalone product?

Hello!

I’d like to get confirmation if my understanding that Kontakt 7 is fully functional standalone app and plugin.

I’d like to use Kontakt 7 midi instruments in reaper.

I want to avoid situation in which in would occur that I need invest another few hundreds to use Kontakt 7.

Can you please validate my understanding?
