Stick with MK2 until Cubase or can I use it?

I have just had my MK3 delivered. I can see Cubase isn't supported yet (what does that actually mean, by the way, it just won't work at all?), and that Komplete Kontrol V3 is due.

Should I stick with my MK2 until Cubase is released (is it a Cubase update or NI update?), or can I swap for my MK3 and use it the same way I used the MK2, but with no new features, e.g. using directly with Kontact?

It would be great to know what can and can't be done with Cubase.

    A couple things:

Cubase is going to be fully supported when the keyboard launches.

No one is supposed to have received the keyboard yet, which is why the full set of software and firmware you need isn't yet available.

Until the keyboard is officially released, unfortunately, you'll have a bad experience. Again, retailers were not supposed to ship anything out yet.

Were you actually able to get it running? Mine arrived a few days ago and I can't set it up because there is no publicly available firmware/drivers. I have been trying to kontakt them about this for days and have not received any helpful responses.
