S49 MK2 triggers windows narrator

Hi all.

Somewhat perplexed here. Received a KK S49 MK2 today. When using it with Komplete Kontrol, or Maschine apps, every hardware browser control I touch triggers the windows narrator. The narrator is definitely off, and browsing the plugins without the s49 connected (using mouse) is fine. All was ok with the KK M32 before, but now, after using the S49, it also happens with the M32???

In windows 11, the narrator is definitely off, and only starts when using the KK system.

Any ideas? It renders the entire KK system unuseable. Instead of hearing an instrument or sample preview, I hear this guy telling me what I have selected! I have tried various OS sites, without success.

If the description happens when you touch the hardware it could be the Keyboard Accessibility feature, not the windows one (difficult to tell from your description.

In your MK2 to turn this on/off you must press SHIFT + MIXER

Try it to see if it’s really the NI Accessibility feature

It wa indeed this feature; one that I had yet to discover.
