Traktor S4: Maschine in via Line

Hi all,

Last night I set it up as in the diagram below – but it does not seem to be working:

Both Maschine and Traktor software running on the MacBook and connected to the respective hardware devices
Traktor sending Midi signal - Maschine slaved to it. The sync part works without issues.

Audio set up for the Traktor:

Device: Traktor Kontrol S4 - I'm running everything through the headphones

Audio set up for Maschine:

Device: Maschine Mk3
Output: 1: Main L, 2: Main R

Maschine Line Out L/R then connected Traktor S4 Line In C. Channel C is set to Line and Live Input. > No signal received in the S4.

I've tried a couple other things, e.g. setting the Maschine to Device: Traktor S4, but that obviously results in hearing the Maschine in the Master of the S4 without the ability to mix, EQ etc.

Any help here would be highly appreciated!

as you set it up with Deck C set to Live input should be working.

Have you checked the S4 main outputs to see if you can hear Maschine from there?

You mean checked if the Main Out of the Maschine actually puts out? Yes - I'm getting signal when connecting Maschine directly to a speaker via the Main Line Out.

No, I meant if the main out of S4 output Maschine audio coming through deck c in live input mode (since you say in S4 you are using only Headphones out)

I have done the same and put channel c as live let me hear Maschine through the headphones cue, however, I have a bit of noice as if was picking a radio frequency and I don’t get why? :/
