Why Don't Some Multi-Output Plugins Route Properly with Komplete Kontrol?

I'm using the Komplete Kontrol Multi-Output (16xStereo) AU version in Logic Pro.
I've noticed that some plugins like Addictive Drums 2 don't seem to route properly to the outputs, even when setting them to utilize individual outputs within the plugin. Does anyone know why and if so how to fix it?

Prob an AU/Logic thing, VST is fine

Maybe, but I just tried Addictive Drums inside the Komplete Kontrol VST3i in REAPER and that doesn't seem to work either.

@Rob Gray Looks like the issue was fixed in that thread, right?

No, that only allowed me to choose the desired routing in Kontakt.
I still can’t seem to get anything out of third party plugins (Addictive Drums 2 in particular) to route to the Komplete Kontrol multi outputs, whether I’m using the AU or the VST3i

@Rob Gray Ok, I'm trying to get more info on that topic. Since I am out of office soon, in the case you don't hear anything back soon, please get in touch with our support here: http://bit.ly/NIsupport_KKontrol

Thank you Jeremy, I appreciate it. I contacted Support but they're taking a while to respond to this particular ticket. I'm assuming because they need more info as well- they responded to my other ticket about Kontakt rather quickly.

@Jeremy_NI from testing back and forth with Alfredo it looks like if Komplete Kontrol is hosting VST3 plugins that use mono outputs then the individual outputs stop working. The same plugins work fine if their VST2 versions are loaded in Komplete Kontrol, so it's limited to VST3.
There aren't many plugins that use mono outputs (and none of them are NKS afaik) but I let XLN Audio know and they said they'd be happy to provide an NFR license to see if the issue is on their end or in Komplete Kontrol somewhere. Their plugins seem to route fine in other hosts but they said there were hosts in the past that didn't expect mono outputs from VST3 plugs and didn't handle them optimally.

So this issue definitely affects a variety of VST3 plugins.
I tested it with IK Multimedia MODO Drum- when loading the VST3 version of MODO Drum, Komplete Kontrol does not transmit the audio from the individual outputs to its own individual outputs. This is despite the fact that MODO Drum can see KK's outputs and select them.
This problem should be observable with the free version which is called MODO Drum CS 1.5.
The VST2 version of MODO Drum is able to see the outputs, and Komplete Kontrol routes them correctly.
