X1MK3: Community Performance MOD (qml coding)

If you want, i can set a condition modifier you can use in any mapping to identify which page you are on.
I would use 'remix deck page' for deck A. It can be used even if deck A is not a remix deck. Usually deck A is never used as a remix deck so this is something i use for a lot of multiple device mappings and qml mods. Page 1 would be FX overlay 1, page 2 would be FX overlay 2, page 3 would be the Mixer/Stem overlay.
You would have to add the modifier condition 'remix deck page selector, deck A, page 3' for your override assignments.
I'll plug it into my next beta and you can try it out. :)

Update:
- Added code to circumvent Traktor bug with Stem Filter.
Next one will have stem overlay per side. Also i will add a condition modifier for overriding factory mapping with user assignments for the FX block signifying Overlay Pages. This way you can map up to three different override pages for the knobs and buttons at the top.

that would be brilliant thanks. So, not sure how I would utilise in controller manager as modifier conditions are just about the setting and checking modifier values?

right, think I get it, I'll wait for updated mod and have a play. thanks!

UPDATE: PerformanceMod 4 for TP 4.1.1 (BETA7)
STEM overlay toggle left/right now separate.
Switching Overlays (FX overlay 1, FX Overlay 2, Mixer/STEM overlay) will now also switch the value of Remix Deck B (i used A for other mappings and want to make sure there is no conflict): Page 1 (FX ol1), Page 2 (FX ol2), Page 3 (Mixer ol). As long as Deck B is not actually a Remix Deck, this has no consequences whatsover for the deck. You can use the value of the page as a condition modifier (sample page selector) to override FX controls separately for each X1 overlay.
Note: this only works with a single X1. If you use two, they both trigger the Page.
Next up will be the FX screens for STEM values.

Giving this a test and it seems to be working, but a couple of oddities now that I've mapped the xone 4 band EQ to the 4 knobs for each deck….I've set them all up with soft takeover, but for some reason its not working across any of the pages/modes. Not sure if that is a by product of your mapping or something else?
Second, noticed the new xone92 mid/low eq option in the setup, but not really sure what this does? I wondered if you'd added this to replicate my mapping which would be cool(!), but enabling/disabling it I can't see any difference in the behaviour of the mixer overlay?

SHIFT will make the low knob/button control midlow if the option is selected. The screen will reflect this. You need to have 4band enabled in Pref→Mixer to have any effect.
All knobs are using softtakeover internally. Maybe that is why your softtakeover doesn't work. Glad you can make use of the three layers now.

UPDATE: PerformanceMod 4 for TP 4.1.1 (BETA8)
- Stem overlay screen feedback complete.
- Stem overlay toggle now blinking blue if in mixer overlay, deck type == stem deck and holding down SHIFT.
This is the last beta before publication on page 1 with updated overview. Please test. Feedback appreciated.

not tested beta8 yet, but the previous beta only controls the mid/low on deck B via shift with the option selected in setup (when using 4 band eq). Deck A is only controlling low regardless of the setup option setting
what would (I think) be a better implementation of this would be for the setup option to toggle what this knob/button does, and then to have shift do the other way round.
In other words, with xone 4 band eq selected in Traktor:
mid low setup option unselected (ie default)
- knob/button 2 controls low, with shift controlling mid-low
mid low setup option selected:
- knob/button 2 controls mid-low, with shift controlling low

Thanks for testing. I can confirm the MidLow bug (only deck B working). On it.
Regarding the Low/MidLow switch. I can do that. Does anybody else have an opinion on this?

just tested beta 8 now and noticed that the top centre screen is missing the graphics for the mixer and effects

Test this one regarding MidLow.
I am effing around with the displays at the moment (including the MODE screen). Check out the Master Meter.

so, the setup toggle for midLow doesn't make any difference, knob/button both only affect low. Also noticed that when you first you first move the knob it does seem to change MidLow, but subsequently reverts to only Low.
Interesting idea on the master level meter. Funnily enough had been thinking how the stock level meters weren't very effective as they were only half height with the text above.
what would be cool would be horizontal meters for the master, and then the 2 decks being controlled. something like:
M (for master) ==========|==
A ============|=
B ============|=
A/B for whatever decks currently being controlled. Not sure if there is enough resolution to have 'Mixer' across the top, so M, or maybe Mixer inline, but you loose space for the meter. Wouldn't want to lose the channel levels.
good stuff!

in danger of throwing ideas around, but seeing as you started(!)….1 thing I've struggled with is seeing the assignments for effects 3 an 4 when in 4 effects mode. Just wish they had put 4 assignment buttons to mirror the software.
so, if you're playing around with the screens, one idea would be to put an indicator of the assignments for effects 3/4 if being used, eg
A B
←3 4→ ←3 4→
possibly needs a bit of thinking about to not be confusing,
another approach (might be better) would be to have the built in effects assignment buttons reflect the effects page you were on, with shift doing the alternative. ie effects page 1 (effects 1&2) assignment buttons as is. effects page 2 (fx 3&4) assignment buttons show for these. Im often in effects page 3&4 and forgetting to press shift to view the assignments

No difference? It works for me. Do you have Xone eq set in Preferences→Mixer? Does SHIFT(HOLD) work correctly? What happens if you delete the qml folder, reinsert the original folder and then apply the mod?
I could make channel meters hotizontal as well, but i am used to vertical on my mixer, on my controllers, in the GUI. I think it would be slightly off for most users if it was horizontal.
I am going to let the FX screens in Mixer Mode show the position of all gain/eq and and 4 stem filters (while in stem overlay) when the knobs/buttons haven't been adjusted for more than 1 second, with the current display popping up when you actually do adjust them. This is how the z1 screens do it, as far as i could see in the review videos.
NI put in some nice stuff among the z1 code which i will salvage, including the code to extract the MixerFX names. My first attempt last year failed and i put it off. Christmas came early this year… 😎
