S88 Mk2 not illuminating key switches for Session Horns Pro

Hi,

I hope I'm in the correct forum section ?

Maschine Mk3, S88 Mk2, Session Horns Pro ( and others )

The S88 lights up the playable range but does not light up the key switches.

Session Horns pro says the key switches start at C-1 for "Non Vibrato" and uses the next several semitones as controls but these S88 keys are not illuminated and don't work.

Any thoughts appreciated.

David

Did you shift the octave down -1?

The key switches range is one octave below the predefined octaves showing on the S88 keys.

And are you sure you loaded the right .nki?

    Thanks for your thoughts.

If I put the Maschine MK3 into Keyboard mode and shift octaves down to start at C-1 then I can use the Maschine pads to trigger the Session Horns switches.

The S88 keys are obviously always available at C-1 but they are never lit and don't work as key switches for Session Horns.

Other NI products like Action Strings are fine and the S88 key switches lite up as expected.

I'm not sure what "Are you sure you loaded the right .nki" means, please explain.

    Hi LostInFoundation,

    Ooo I'm being stupid !

I read C-1 as C1, when I tell the S88 to shift octave down -1 all is well.

Thank you very much for sorting me out
