Maschine MK3 not showing MIDI inputs
Hi all,
I have had my MK3 for a while now and I love it. I’m slowly getting my head around it but I have had no luck at all getting my midi connections to work. They simply won’t come up on the input selection. I have done everything said in the instructions. I am trying to run a Korg Minilogue and my Behringer RD9. Both of them aren’t showing up as inputs. I’ve downloaded the ASIO4ALL drivers - no luck, restarted computer a million times, searched everywhere on the internet to no avail. I am running into both the MIDI in and MIDI out channel.
I fell like I am missing something. If anyone can help me that would be fantastic!

So we are clear , if your devices are connected via din midi cable , then they won’t show up as a named device , you’d just select the name of the port mk3 in/out
some devices send midi over usb , they show up as a device in the list , alongside the mk3 in/out port and virtual port , you normally need to install a driver though

Hi yes this is how I have it all plugged it :) I still don’t know why it won’t work.

In the maschine preferences/Midi there is a input/output section, are the boxes checked for the midi ports

Hi yes everything seems to be checked. It just isn’t coming up with my devices in there :(

Okay thank you! I was just confused because so many tutorials showed the device name coming up. Thank you for your help!

You can ( if I remember right) change the name of the port , in the preferences/ midi , click on the box where it say midi in
