88 key semi-weighted

I have the s88 MkII keyboard. I am not a fan of the fully weighted keys. I do however like the semi weighted. Call me crazy but it is what it is. Will there be a komplete kontrol 88 key semi weighted or is there a keyboard on the market that will allow me to do, what the NI keyboards do?

I can confirm that a semi weighted keyboard S88 is not planned.

Given NI's previous product lines, I would say this is unlikely to happen. Dare I say it on here, but if semi-weighted is what you're after - Keylab Essential.

Yeah unlikely that will happen, that would prob require a few changes to the actual internals to swap out a different keybed and as is, more stock of the same model to be kept and just more overall cost, how many people can justify the room that the S88 takes up let alone need that range in most cases.

As mentioned above, if 81 keys and a more synth action is required as the main points then another keyboard would be the go. Otherwise if you really like the NKS integration and DAW control, either get use to the weighted keys or downsize to an S61. That is realistically the options you have.

That’s unfortunate. I just don’t understand why. It’s all about the electronics in the keyboard. I can get 61 semi weighted keys but need 88. Using a nektar keyboard now and it’s wonderful. I would like to use the NI features though. Just seems like it’s a I just don’t understand why. It’s all about the electronics in the keyboard. I can get 61 semi weighted keys but need 88.
