Is an explicit deinstallation of NI software required for rehosting ?
Hi there,
I just bought a new macbook Air M1. This will replace my old Macbook pro, which I will sell later.
I want to keep the possibility to install the NI software (KOMPLETE KONTROL 13 select) on three computers.
On the NI website, the uninstallation of the software is described as a prerequisite for this.
An explicit deactivation of the old installation is obviously not possible.
Is the complex uninstallation really necessary or is it sufficient to delete the hard disk of the old computer completely. How does NI get any information about the completion of the uninstallation process. Is this just based on confidence ?
I don't want to lose any of the three installation options.
regards daysailor
