Can I use "KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 mk2" with Mac Studio M2 Max?

My Mac recognizes KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 mk2, but there is no sound from Apple Music, YouTube, Logic Pro, or any other app. The level meter is not working either.

I remember it sounded unstable the first day I bought Mac Studio, but now it doesn't sound at all.

It sounded fine on my iMac 5K 27".

Do I need a driver for Apple Silicon? (I can't seem to find it on the official site)

@Keiji Sakamoto Sorry, this page should have been updated and will be shortly. Motu M4 is a great soundcard anyway.

I found only one driver on the official site (KA6MK2Updater.app), but when I try to run it, I get an error like the image and cannot run it.

The OS is macOS Ventura 13.5.1.

I looked closely and found an article on the official website saying that the M2 chip is currently unsupported.

I tried to use it with Mac Studio M2 Max without knowing it, but it did not play any sound at all, and when I selected Komplete Audio 6 in the settings screen of Logic Pro or Studio One, the screen turned pink depending on the data, and the machine suddenly crashed.

I would like to know when the driver will support this.

Hey @Keiji Sakamoto Where did you find that article saying M2 was not supported? That should be updated. Since there is no fundamental difference between M1 and M2, all of our current products are supported and should work. On Mac there is no need for drivers, it's all plug and play.

How do you connect the soundcard to the computer? What kind of cable or hub?

Are you able to select the KA6 mk2 as an output for your system? As an output for Logic or other programs?

Make sure that your music apps all have full disk access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Also make sure that the apps have access to the microphone: macOS Dialog: “*App Name* would like to access the microphone."

I bought MOTU M4 today because KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 mk2 was not compatible with M2 series and M1 Ultra. KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 mk2 is apparently still not compatible with Windows 11, so I will restructure it from my environment.

    @Jeremy_NI Was this updated?

I was about to place an order for the KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 and after clicking the BUY NOW it shows in the system requirements "Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPU, or Apple Silicon (native mode or using Rosetta 2; M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max only, M2 not currently supported), 4 GB RAM "

@sydthekid It seems the page was not updated, sorry about that, pinging the responsible team once again. Since there is no major difference between M1 and M2 you can safely buy it and use it on your M2 computer.

What are the necessary procedures for transferring "KOMPLETE AUDIO 6" to another person?

Hi Jeremy, I was about to order the Complete Audio 6 but your site STILL has the info that is not compatible with Apple M2 chips.. I wonder if this was solved and how about the M3 Pro?

Need to solve this doubt before buying.

    Cheers,

    Antonio

@Antonio Afonso I'm really sorry, that page should have been updated long time ago. M2 is definitely supported and this page should have been updated a while ago. I've asked the responsible team about M3 compatibility. Given it's just an audio interface and the driver is Plug & Play on Macs I would assume it to work.
