File won't open because there are no free instrument slots available.

Why does Kontakt say there are no free instrument slots available. I can't open the file to start playing the piano I want to play I don't understand. It's a free nki piano file and it won't open because there are no free instrument slots available. I don't know how to access the slots or get free slots whatever that means.

Could be that you've loaded too many instruments for your machine to handle. How's your ram and CPU usage? Can you close some instruments and try again?

@ztronem Do you get the same issue when opening in an empty Kontakt? On your screenshot, there's already an instrument loaded. Where is this free instrument coming from so we can also check it out?

Free means unoccupied. (You can only have 16 instruments in an instance of Kontakt.)
