Komplete Kontrol doesn't show any Previews

I've installed Komplete Kontrol and Previews (NPBL) but nothing is showing up.

I already reinstalled it with shorter directory.

I already reinstalled Komplete Kontrol.

I already tried to delete the database files.

What am I getting wrong?

As I said, Previews is just to have small previews while browsing your instruments.

Think of it as a trailer for a movie: it shows you a brief sample of what you will see if you watch the whole thing

You need to install all the instruments you wish to use with Komplete Kontrol. The Previews object in the NA installer is due to the fact when KK was first released it did not have a preview feature and this was added later so that is just preview audio files that play a small sample of the preset before loading. They do not appear in the browser, the instruments presets appear in the browser and the preview simply plays when you click on a preset. Without the previews, some instruments will not play that audio preview when selected, however some will, it''s mostly older instruments from 10 years ago.

If I see correctly, you are on the users browser. Push the little man icon to go back to factory browser

There you will see also all your installed instruments/libraries, that now are not appearing (is not only the preview that you are not able to listen…no instrument is showing up).

But…now that I check your first screenshot better…are those the only thing you installed? Did you even install any instrument/library at all?

Preview is just a program that allows you to listen to a preview of installed instruments while you browse. It doesn’t contain any instrument per se.

If you don’t install anything, you won’t find anything

Okay... I did check this button too, sorry.

So... I get this information wrong?? You have to install the instruments too?

What's the goal of the 8GB preview files then?? I checked the folders and there are some sound files....

I thought it's meant to be a preview for all instruments, even those which are not installed?

And if I dont install Previews, can I still do and use all my samples as normal or will problems arise? Its not clear at all in download if its a useful sampler or necessary et al.

The Presence or absence of previews has no impact on overall functionality so you can still do everything else
