Fables will not run with latest Kontakt 7 version

I just bought Fables. I got a error message when I start it in Kontakt 7

Your version of Kontakt is too old to load this file.

Please update to the latest version.

It is the latest version!

I found the problem by myself. Old IMac with Catalina. Latest Kontakt 7 is here 7.4. My Macbook runs with Monterey and Fables runs perfectly.

Now it runs on my old 2012 IMac as well. I have installed Ventura with OCLP.

I have the same error with Imac Catalina , but recently I purchased Utopia and there is no problem with this plugin

Why with Fables is different ?

It's more recent and more complex so probably uses the latest graphics etc tech, so needs the latest version of Kontakt 7

you will need at least Kontakt 7.5.

With Catalina you only get Kontakt 7.4 as latest version.

Hi guys. Could you give me some feedback on Open Control Legacy patcher ?

I will need in the next weeks to update an old macbook (mid-2012 version) to Sonoma in order to run various things on it (Live 12, Kontakt 7 and Fables, etc. etc.) but I'm still a bit afraid of the side effects.

Is OCLP stable ? No glitches ? No issues ?

Hi Calagan,

I had a problem with Oclp that no new app could installed. I made a complete new blank installation from Catalina with oclp to Ventura. I am still in the installation Prozess. Cause of to many Live Packs 😉. It took me a day but it is Running fast and stable. I would not Go on Sonoma. Ventura is quite enough.
