Best place to buy used gear?

Being uncertain of potential new hardware or software launches in the near future, it makes more sense for me to buy used native instrument products. I’m looking to get an S 49, machine plus, and complete 14 ultimate. This way I’m not waiting and I can get right down to making music. Where would you recommend buying?

eBay, Gumtree, Facebook market place. Depends where you live but just be aware of scams or people not transferring licenses.

I have an S61 MK1 for sale in Australia pretty cheap.

I buy HW/SW from my country local seconhand exchange webs. But I look at Reverb or eBay for current prices, to check what price is appropriate. Mainly when gear does not sell frequently seconhand in my coutry, so the price is not "settled". Also beware, it seems to me that many adds on eBay have absurd prices or are misleading and sell dustcover for the price of device counting on user gets fooled....

Sometimes I get the gear sent, but mostly I buy and sell personally. One may chat with the guy and check the gear, load licences, and so on....

For example S49 is huge, would be difficult to send it, unless seller has original packaging....

Generally, I find buying secondhand fine way to get the gear, I could not afford to buy new. Also, if the gear does not suit me, I may sell it later without big loss....
