Is there a way to record sounds from my pc going directly into my Komplete Audio 6 and then into Cubase?

Is there a special channel I should use as input channel?

Not 100% sure if that would suit your workflow but you could also use audio routing utilities such as Loopback (if you're on Mac): https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/

No loopback function, so use voicemeeter instead on PC.

I fiddle around with finding a software solution to do similar for ages but eventually ended up doing it SIMPLY with patch cables. Just patch OUT 3/4 to IN 3/4, assign windows audio to OUT 3/4 and set up Cubase with an input assigned to IN 3/4.

I'm on a PC so the second solution doesn't seem to work.

The first solution sounds interesting, however how do I assign windows audio to OUT 3/4? Where do I locate this setting? In Windows audio settings? Komplete Audio settings? Cubase settings?
