Optimise Data issue (mac OS)

Hey everyone.

Has anyone found a solution to the "optimise data" message if you don't want to switch off iCloud features... Is it just tap the folder every few days to make sure it doesn't go?

Switch the default home folder?

I'm open to any ideas... It happened to me once in a club after a holiday when I opened my machine and everything was gone. 😖

Hello,

i just switched the default Folder to a local Folder on my Macbook (outsite of icloud synced Folders).

Thats did it for me.

Good advice... I'm worried about losing that as well, but I guess I can make regular back ups of that ro something instead of relying on a cloud service...
