I already had my ni a49 keyboard, and i wanted to use half damp functioning pedal. So I decided to buy yamaha fc3a half damp pedal… and i already bought it too.

I already read the article about the ‘compatible with komplete kontrol keyboard series’ and also i read the pedal assignment article…

But i couldn’t use it as a half damping pedal… I use logic pro, so i checked the sustain range…but it didn’t work half pedaling.

I asked so many places… but i couldn’t have a correct solution… Please help me…

Have you set it up like this?

Check the note as well, not all libraries support half pedaling.

    Hello,

this pedal is a continuous controller, it sends data from 0 to 127, so it's up to the instrument to interpret the cc value, not all instruments support half damper, some have a setting to set it from just on/off to half, please read the manual of the instrument to. See if it supports that. First open komplete kontrol stand alone and you do this: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005166305-How-to-Configure-Sustain-Expression-Pedals-on-KOMPLETE-KONTROL-Keyboards-Sustain-Expression-Pedale-auf-einem-KOMPLETE-KONTROL-Keyboard-konfigurieren setting it up to cc64 or what you need (look at manual of the instrument)

And with what instrument you try to use it? If you own "the grandeur" from native then try with that, you only have to set the option on the instrument to half pedal and enable resonance if you want to.
