Recording 2 things at once while in keyboard mode

In 2018 I asked for exactly that, here. Many have asked before :(
It's possible, with DAW's that have a dedicated Live Performance mode like Ableton Live or Bitwig, even Logic has it now.
In a DAW there's also the possibility of running 2 Maschine Plugs, so each controller can focus on a different plug instance but this will only make sense if your Keyboard is from NI (KK-S). On a Mac you can also use 2 Maschine apps at the same time by just duplicating the app.
Any workaround will not be practical for everyday production but if the point is to perform a premade project then it could be worth it, depends.

@D-One great! and it had received several replies and support. :)
Any chance we can do something to make this go at least to the "feature suggestion" section?
I am tired of feeling that Maschine is like an obstacle to my live performances, rather than a reliable piece of equipment/performance instrument.
((Another example is the way it interrupts live performance on knobs each time SOLO or MUTE buttons are pressed: This simple action quits all the functionality to the knobs, so every other parameter I am affecting gets stoped..))

Yes, many things do but never changed anything tbh :(
We only have a feature request tag, adding it to the OP post doesn't seem right as it's a question but anyone can create a thread a tag it as a feature request.

I found a solution homies. Maschine swaps groups when it senses a midi input being sent to a different group while you're recording. you can add samplers to specific pads and assign them to specific inputs. so I have my kick, snare, hats, open hat, crash, toms, and percs on pads 1 through 8, I got my pads from my MIDI controller inputting to a sampler in pad 9 I have my keyboard on my MIDI controller sending to pad 10 which is a keyboard. as long as its all in the same group the screens won't swap. say, you didn't want to lose the progress you've made on a specific group, you could either route the midi to the pad in the specific group you want (Via Midi in/out) or do what I did and duplicate the pad from the other group onto the group with the rest of your samples. unless you're using all 16 pads it should pretty much always be possible to work around it.
