Hello, every time I try to load a patch to Kontakt 7 a message appears telling that the nki format could not be loaded and the file format is not supported or corrupt. Anyone more with this issue? I use a lot both libraries!

Thanks

    Hello,

have you checked the drive for errors, and what if you open kontakt stand alone, does it work then?

Hello, I've tried opening in Kontakt standalone and the issue persists. Even I've tried opening a patch in Kontakt 5 and no way. I suspect that it is something related to operating system, because in my studio, I have a computer running Mac OS X Mojave and runs perfectly.

@xasqui Can you share the error message? Is this happening only for this Artist Drums and Artist Grooves library? Where is it coming from? Does it happen on other libraries?

What version(s) of Kontakt do you use on your M1 / Ventura computer?

What version(s) of Kontakt do you use on your studio computer (Mojave)?

You can check by clicking the ni logo.

    Hi, Jeremy

thanks for replying! The message is "Files could not be loaded. The file format is not supported or corrupt." That's all. This error is only happening for Artist Drums and Artist Grooves. Libraries are official. I bought them several years ago from NI website, and registered via Service Center, when it still worked.

In Ventura computer (a new Mac Studio) I use Kontakt 7, but these libraries I've tried to open them in Kontakt 6 and even 5 and doesn't work.

In Mojave computer I use Kontakt 6 and both libraries works fine.

That's why I suppose that perhaps the problem is the computer system itself. Both libraries use nks format, and newer libraries use nkx format. Could be that nks format is not supported in M1 or in Ventura OS?

Is there any way to convert nks libraries to nkx format?

    All the best!
