Why are Prime Bass keys one octave higher than normal?

I just discovered that the Prime Bass keys are one octave higher than normal. Why have they chosen this mapping? It's very unpractical if you want to make sheet music for example. It's confusing too.

Also, if I want to try different bass sounds with my Jamstik, I need to transpose the Jamstik back and forth, back and forth.

    Hello,

seems to be designed that way, i don´t no why but you could add under ksp\presets\factory\transform the multichannel transpose - set it as you need, maybe +12 then save that as your own preset. then you at least don´t have to transpose up and down all the time - if it works for you.
