In Kontakt 7, is it possible to have presets default to Omni when loading?

Is it possible to specify that a newly loaded presetin Kontakt 7 always loads on the midi channel "Omni" instead of channel 1?

I feel like this used to possible, but I am often loading a new sound and it is defaulting back to channel 1 which means I have to either go and choose what channel it should be receiving on in order to play the sound or change it to omni.

    Yes, go to settings:

    Under Handling you will find a preference "MIDI channel assignment for loaded patches". Set this to "Assign to omni" and it should automatically set your MIDI channel to omni when loading new sounds.
