Is there an NI page that shows the current versions of ALL products, so I can make sure Native Assess is correct with my updates?
I ask because a few months ago, Native Access said I had a Kontakt 7 update and at that time, it showed I had version 7.3.1 installed. But it was still prompting me to update but the update kept failing.
I did not know what the current version was at the time, so NI support emailed me a link to download a zip file and it installed correctly and the update prompts disappeared, but then I noticed it was still version 7.3.1.
A few days ago, we had several more updates. Two of the programs installed okay, but Kontakt 6.8.0 and Guitar Rig 6 Pro 6.4.0 failed.
I contacted NI support but even if they provide me with a direct download, they don't provide an explanation of why this issue is occurring.
I read too many bad experiences with the NI Uninstall RegTool_64bit.zip but I prefer finding the cause rather than using a "repair tool".
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
On a sidenote, can I delete the 143 hidden NI folders in my ProgramData folder? It's 2.21GB in size and all of the files seem to be NI install Setup files.
