Where is the new Kontak 7 library?

The header says most of it, the stand-alone K7 seems to open fine from the application in the main Native Instrument folder, I haven't created a desktop icon yet. So far I haven't been able to find the VSTi in Reaper.

But my main question is "where is the new K7 library"?

I have a special SSD just for my Kontakt libraries and that's where I'd like to have it?

Thank you, Tod

Thankyou Sunborn, I just found it in the "NOT INSTALLED". I checked there a couple of times and didn't see it.

Anyway, thanks to all of you.

As I said in your other thread on this, Kontakt 2 factory Library is a separate download from Native Access

Thanks Kymeia and Shakespeare, but I can't find that "Kontakt Factory Library 2" anywhere on Native Access?

Also I do not have the vertical layout, mine is horizontal?

I did open preferences and do see the various "File locations", what is the difference between "Download location" & "Content location"?

It does have the VST 64 location, but after checking it, the Kontakt 7 dll is not there.

Okay, I just found a folder called "01 Kontakt 2 Library", that may be it. If so, I confused it with the original Kontact 2 library, I started out with the original Kontact 2.

So it looks like I might be ready to go, except for the dll VSTi file?

Is the "VSL Kontakt Orchestra" library a new VSL library, or is it the same old VSL library?

Actually my friends, where can I find all the pertinent information about the new "Kontakt Library 2"?

"Download location" is your Downloads folder, the same folder you use for any kind of downloads

"Content location" is where the libraries are installed. There is your Kontakt Library! ...if you installed it of course

"I just found a folder called "01 Kontakt 2 Library". This is not a "normal" (default) name. Maybe you renamed it? Possibly this could be your library, but you have to rename it to "Factory Library 2" otherwise Kontakt can not find it.

So it appears we can't get into any of these new Kontakt 7 instruments?

That's TO bad, that's how I learned Kontakt and how to write scripts?
