How to fix cracks and glitches with Symphony Essentials?

Hello,

I just purchased Komplete 14 Ultimate and I'm having issues with cracks and glitches with the Symphony Essentials instruments. It's like a distortion that is kind of random and occurs in all Symphony Essentials (Strings, Brass, Woodwinds, Percussion). This is occurring during playback in Logic Pro X as well as after bouncing the track to disk.

All my Komplete 14 Ultimate instruments are installed on my external Samsung SSD which is formatted with exFAT format. I have other instrument libraries stored on this disk as well without issue. The track I'm playing is about 24 tracks orchestration. I'm using an Intel iMac (3.7 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5) with 40 gigs of memory (40 GB 2667 MHz DDR4) and I'm using Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1 (22F82).

Any idea what could be causing these random glitches, cracks and distortion?

    Hello,

you can experiment with the pre load buffer size like shown here: https://spitfireaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021432793-How-to-optimise-Kontakt-s-Disk-Streaming-Performance

Oddly enough... even though I'm using an SSD increasing the buffer size to 90 or 120 (Komplete Kontrol) on each instrument track seemed to solve the issue. Reducing it just made it worse.

Then there is maybe a bottleneck, maybe a USB hub or something. But if you can work with increased buffer size it's ok.
