Why aren't post fader global FX a thing in Traktor?

I love every aspect about Traktor software but I really can't get used to this thing. I was a Serato user and the FX were post fader (obviously meaning they continued to work even if I shut the upfaders and crossfader) and I used this to create cool echo outs and stuff like that.

But when I switched to Traktor I noticed that the global FX are kind of "attached" to the channel and aren't post fader, unlike mixer FX which are.

Is there any option to change the behaviour or is this the way global FX was intended?
