Proper path for Reaktor Ensembles?

Hi) I often do my projects on machine+ in standalone mode with custom Reaktor Effects and Ensembles. They loaded to M+ and it's ok.

But then i try to load this projects on MacOS with Maschine 2 app, it's not find my Reaktor stuff...even if i copy all my custom ensembles to User library (path in settings). And I have to open every instance of the Reaktor and specify the path to .ens manually.

Is it proper way to do this? Or proper path for my .ens files on my mac?

By default, the REAKTOR User Ensemble folder is located here on your computer: Mac: Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name*> Documents > Native Instruments > Reaktor 6 > Library > Ensembles.

But you can use your own path, as long as you add it in Reaktor options.

On Maschine you have to check options and see if the path is already there, otherwise add it manually. Then do a rescan. It is also a good idea in the User library options to check the "Scan user content for changes at start-up".

On my pc I've separate pathes for building my own monsters and pathes to use ens by other users.

For this year the main folder is NI Reaktor UL useful 2023 with several subfolders sort by genre.

Can Maschine separate .ens to .project?

Hey, how did you finally solved your issue @berrymoor ?

I have the same issue, followed the instructions by @Sunborn but I still need to manually relocate any custom-made Reaktor ensembles when opening a M+ project on Maschine desktop.

This is because the old path is stored inside the M+ project, thus when you relocate, after you have to also save the M+ project (in order to include the new path)! Otherwise, the next time you will open it, you will need to relocate again and again... :-)

Sure, but then you have to reload the Ensembles (!) when bringing the Project back to the M+.

For cross platform compatibility (macOS/Win/M+) of custom Ensembles, I had the best experience when the reside in

~/Documents/Native Instruments/User Content/Reaktor/Ensembles/

on the desktop and in

/Native Instruments/User Content/Reaktor/Ensembles/

on the M+.
