Ssd, preload size in kontakt and komplete fast loading etc
I have a question about configuring the preload buffer in Kontakt and internal vs. external ssd,
Part by part; I understand that a lower preload buffer is faster to load the libraries and a higher one is slower? on the other hand, I have discovered that everything works faster if I move my libraries to an external ssb connected by usb c.
i am quite confused, since the computer is a mac studio.
Can someone guide me with clear information?
thank you very much community.

I do not know about the buffer...
Concerning SSD. Probably internal/external is OK. I would recomend it is NVMe SSD, not SATA. SATA is several times slower.
