Can I delete kontakt library from the downloads folder ?

(Mac os Ventura)

Users> shared> kontakt factory library 2 - that is where the folder lives - and it appears to have 39GB of samples in - so thats good

BUT is it a proxy to the real file in my downloads folder? or can i delete the 39gb file from downloads?

    If your libraries are already installed on their correct folders, yes of course you can delete what's on your downloads, it's just duplicate.

    Also are factory 1 and factory 2 very different?

    Theyre so big im not sure if its worth downloading and installing both

    If you have Factory 2 then, you don't need Factory 1, it is most likely older versions of the same instruments.
