What's the difference between the input devices?

There are three options to choose between:

KOMPLETE KONTROL - 1

KOMPLETE KONTROL EXT - 1

Komplete Kontrol DAW - 1

What's the difference between them? I've only been able to play from hardware (Komplete Kontrol) by using KOMPLETE KONTROL - 1.

    KOMPLETE KONTROL - 1 is for the USB MIDI port

    KOMPLETE KONTROL EXT - 1 is the MIDI 5 din port, if you connect another MIDI device to the MIDI input.

    Komplete Kontrol DAW - 1 is for integrating with DAWs like Ableton, Logic, Cubase, etc...

    The DAW option seems to work similarly to KOMPLETE KONTROL - 1. Guess there are some differences but I should be able to work it out eventually.
