I think one of my best kept maschine secrets is the Speed feature in the sampling tab. I use it a lot. It will help your chops flow on beat better and doesn’t distort the sample sonically like time stretch can do.

they're talking about when you put the stretch mode to free instead of beat, then you hold the shift button and you can stretch a sample to 98% or something like that
