Hello friends, we have a ddj ergo device and we saw that it works with tractor pro licensed. I want to ask you, is this device approved only with traktor pro or can it be used with rekordbox? apparently from old production devices. So I couldn't find much information on the internet. If it is not compatible with rekordbox, is it possible to find a map? I would be very happy if you could share information. with love.

I still haven't solved the issue actively. Is mapping available for the recordbox or should only be used in traktor pro?

You should check the compatibility info on Rekordbox DJ website. There is a solid chance that it works but most likely doesn't unlock the license.

Being a standard MIDI controller the unit could be mapped freely to any MIDI capable application otherwise. Including Traktor.

Thank you for your interest, it seems that it is not compatible on the website. DDJ 400 is the closest compatible device. If they look in the same class and are compatible, I really don't know about it. When I tried, I saw that it didn't unlock the performance. So I can't see midi settings or if it's compatible.

I wonder if it will work when I open the lock with membership. Or I think ready-made mapping can be found.

Worst case scenario, you will be creating your own mapping (unless there aren't any available online).
