"Higher Place" + "Feel It"...Works on S49 Mk.II?

Hi!

I'm interested in the latest offering from NI (April 2023)

- Higher Place Expansion and

- Feel It, a Play Series Instrument.

I'm a bit confused at what I'm buying...I don't own Maschine hardware, yet both products say they're optimized for Komplete Kontrol Keyboards.


Am I going to be able to actually use the expansion pack? Or do I need a Maschine Controller to use it?


I assume Feel it is an "instrument" and will show up in Kontakt (?)

    You’re correct about Feel it working inside of Kontakt.

    About expansions…their “natural” home is Maschine software, but some parts of them (like loops and one shots can be used inside Komplete Kontrol (free software) or even in other DAWs. And they have kits built also for Battery 4.

    Thanks so much.

    I know I have Machine Essentials (I think that's what it's called?) In my Komplete Kontrol software...or it may have been included with Komplete 13.


    Will the Higher Place work in that? I kind of assumed it was Maschine without all the extra samples and sounds.

    I appreciate the replies...I don't want to spend the money and not be able to use the product. It's not clear on the products page...it says it works in KK, I'm just not sure "how"?

    Expansions are not so easy to use in Komplete Kontrol, here is how: How To Load An Expansion Preset in KOMPLETE KONTROL

    For the Feel it Kontakt instrument, you just need to install it alongside Kontakt and you can load it in Komplete Kontrol.

    Ahh!


    One user says not too hard, NI says not so easy. A conflict.


    I think (if anything) I'll just stick with the "Play" instrument...although Jeremy_NI was illustrative in how to play the Presets alone in an expansion...
