I don’t think there is a driver on Mac M1. It’s plug and play. I have checked the firmware is up to date. Have I missed something (and thank-you for the suggestion - I almost certainly have!).

Sorry to be thick (I'm not that tech literate). I'd installed the firmware updater item under A Series on that page. The installation guide says that everything else happens automatically. Are you referring to the Controller Editor software when you say 'driver'?

Oh…sorry…you’re right. We are talking about A series which doesn’t have drivers. Probably it is class compliant.

    My bad ☺️

You are not being thick Pete. You are taking all of the logical steps. I do not have the script folder installed as described in the article I sent, neither do I give full disk permissions to Logic or Komplete Kontrol. It still works.

I recently had this issue with Cubase. In this instance the issue was that I reinstalled Cubase and realised that I deleted a script that Komplete Kontrol it automatically places in my Cubase folders. Strange! I reinstalled Komplete Kontrol via Native Access and it magically worked again.

On occasion it seems there is no rhyme or reason. I am confident you will find the solution it is just eluding you at present.

Sure. I think we have the same setup generally as I am also on Monterey, but using Intel so maybe something specific to newer M1 model.

    Hi,

I had to troubleshoot a project that was crashing Logic when I tried to open it. I was disabling core audio and discovered that the transport controls started up every single time with Logic in this state.

Is that a clue or just a 'what did you expect?' thing ?

    I hope everyone's having a lovely day.

For anyone washing up here with this problem, if you're in Logic with the transport controls working, try switching the keyboard to midi mode before exiting. That's shift + plug-in button at the same time.

That seems to be improving things for me, although I'm still exploring whether I then need to press shift + plug in again before starting Logic.

Same problems for me,Komplete Kontrol crashes all the time if you scan plugins on KK in stand alone it crashes in Logic it quits to the desktop says a problem with the Ni scan app I’ve spent months contacting Ni done every possible Ni fix but nothing has worked, I’ve paid a lot of money out for my Ni equipment and now cannot work due to these problems this is a brilliant company but support dept is just not there?. no idea why they sacked 100 Ni employees and now we are left with poor tech support? I was told by Ni to not use Guitar Rig as they know it crashes things so I’ve paid out but cannot use it for recording guitars, not very happy.

I’d like to see Ni use the same service as Apple and access my computer remotely via screen share, Apple provide this brilliant service, so why not Ni? They are a large tech company and should also be able to provide something like the Apple tech help support for their customers so we get instant help and not have to wait weeks

Hi. I spent about two hours with a very helpful chap from tech support. We tried all kinds of things, but we didn’t find a solution. At least I can get the transport controls to work if I close and open Logic a few times. Incidentally, the whole thing works faultlessly with Ableton Live 10. Hope you can solve your problem. What does Logic say when you scan the plug ins in there? Are you on Apple Silicon?
