Hi guys,
My Kontakt 7 is not opening the instruments by dragging nor by double clicking.
I have to open the instruments folder each time, that is very inconvenient.
Does anybody know how to solve this?
I checked and dragging or double tapping the banner to load it is not possible. You can do it from the instrument name under the banner (in the last case of Alicia’s Keys, Alicias Keys.nki)
It’s never been possible to drag the banner, at least I never been aware of this
Which instrument folder are you talking about? The one under the instruments banner or you have to go to Files?
You mean that you have to use the FIles tab to open instruments? Your description is too vague.
Not even @LostInFoundation could answer this. 😎😁😂
But he did before I could finish typing and submitting my reply. LOL
haha,
yes somehow you got me!!
I have to use the files tab to open the instruments...the one under the instruments banner ,yes @LostInFoundation
This is normal…some instruments also have multiple types under it (e.g. a melody one or one that plays patterns, or in the case of Kontakt Factory library, all the instruments included ). You have to chose which one to load.
Btw: this is not the Files tab (this is on top, beside the Library tab and it’s useful to navigate your computer). The one under the instruments is only the instruments choice
Please don’t mention me
Hi @LostInFoundation !
thanks for your answer , but before I could browse much quicker as I could load the full instruments and it’s types just by double clicking or dragging the images to the right screen…
I am talking , for instance, of Alicia Keys piano…
Why doesn’t it happen anymore? Could I fix that?
Let me check…2 minutes and I’ll report back
@LostInFoundation this is the only way I can open a sound now…
Double clicking on “instruments” under the banner opens the list (being it of only 1 item or more) and dragging/double clicking on the item you want to load is loading it
Thank you so much @LostInFoundation , you are a star!!!
No problem, you’re welcome
”You are a star” sounds a lot like an Italian expression, “sei una stella” ☺️ which means more “you are kind” than “you are famous”. I like it more…kind is better than famous 😉
Why not? 🙂 You're funny.
Your continuous implying I’m doing this for something different than helping is not
