I am having too many issues with recognizing Kontakt app in Garage Band.

I have the latest version, and I need a lot of assistance with it, when it comes to recognizing the Kontakt app in Garage Band.

Any comments or suggestions?

I forgot to mention how the package may have been installed in the wrong file path from Native Instruments.

It shows up independently, but what I found out that it recognizes my MIDI keyboard. However, it doesn’t play any sounds.

I need some more assistance regarding this issue please.

What I also need to mention is that I need the correct file path for installation , so that when I open up Garage Band and select a MIDI track, the player app detects, appears, and plays sounds from my MIDI keyboard.

@JohnCTX Do you mean that Kontakt 7 dos not show up as a plug-in in GarageBand? Have you checked this? How to Insert Native Instruments Plug-ins in GarageBand

I'm running into the same issue. Once I'm in Garageband, add a new software instrument, head to track plug-ins, Select "AU Instruments → Native Instruments → Kontakt 7 → Stereo. This part works just fine. As soon as I click the green "Kontakt 7" button to launch the software (Or in fact, even if I launch Kontakt 7 from my applications) my mac freezes then immediately crashes and restarts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I just noticed that they acknowledge this within Kontakt 7

@Jvb182 Yes, it was a really nasty bug from Apple, the latest 14.5 update for Sonoma fixed these computer crashes/kernel panics issues for all the affected users, please update your OS and let us know if the crashes stopped.
