Using KOMPLETE KONTROL with Cubase
Thank you for this tutorial:

However, after following the above video, when I get to Studio Setup > Add Device > Komplete Kontrol S Series ... I can not select the MIDI Input or Output as "All MIDI Inputs" not "Komplete Kontrol DAW-1". My Native Instruments app is up to date along with the latest version of Cubase (12.0.52). I've restarted my computer, turned on and off the device, unplugged and replugged the USB cord and get nothing. It's quite disappointing that I'm unable to get the most out of my Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol device as I love all the VST instruments but now must rely on writing in the notes by hand.

Hey @Cassidy Bisher Can you open the Komplete Kontrol standalone application and make sure to tick these boxes:

@Jeremy_NI I actually don't see that option?

Did you install the drivers for your keyboard?

@Cassidy Bisher You're on Mac, right? Have you given Full Disk Access to Komplete Kontrol? Sometimes other MIDI instances or programs "steal" the host integration part. Do you have other music/audio software/soundcard manager? What soundcard are you using?

Yep, on a Mac. I do have the drivers installed. The only software device I have installed is the Apollo Twin X I'm using as the audio interface.

I also tried to install the latest driver and received this error message. It's bummer. After a huge investment on my end I still can't use the product. After following instructions on Native Instruments Official YouTube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbilJyHaffY&list=PL-FV36BiINJOAN6Ft2CZ07Pm2bFQ9pi6q&index=2&t=581s

If you go in the settings of your Console for the Apollo, check that Komplete Kontrol is not selected in this section:

Here's a screenshot from my console settings. As you can see Komplete Kontrol is not selected.

Please try the following steps:
Delete the User Preference (PLIST) File
- Go to the following location on your computer:
- Macintosh HD > Users > *Your User Name* > Library > Preferences
- Note: The User Library is a hidden folder on macOS. See this article for instructions to access hidden macOS folders.
- Search through the Preferences folder at this location, to find the plist file for KOMPLETE KONTROL:
- com.native-instruments.Komplete Kontrol.plist
- Delete the plist file.
- Note: Deleting other plist files could result in unexpected behavior with other applications.
- Reopen the KOMPLETE KONTROL software to check that the issue has been resolved.
If issue still occurs, try reinstalling Komplete Kontrol in Native Access.
Controller Editor is not needed for the Mk2 keybiards, only the MK1. There is also no need for drivers, it's plug & play on mac.

Okay, I deleted the file and still nothing. Also, I can't see the midi controller when I go to preferences like in the screenshot you showed above where I can check the boxes.

Have you tried a different USB cable? Please check this article: My KOMPLETE KONTROL Keyboard Does Not Start and try the steps.
Are the NIHardwareAgent or NIHostIntegrationAgent running in the background?
