Using clips a second time

Maybe I'm overlooking it in the manual but, how do you add a clip you've already placed if you deleted it. I must've accidentally removed a clip but can't figure out how to get it back. I see I can right-click another clip and select "duplicate/double" or double click to automatically create a new one but say if I wanted to reuse "clip 2" Where the hell do I go to get to it???
