Reaktor Subharmonic unwanted low frequency
Hi There!
I like to use the old Subharmonic Reaktor ensemble, but it has a very low unwanted frequency around 11hz with some presets.Ok I can use a highpass filter but it is alter the sound slightly.
Is it a natural behaviour of the Subharmonic ensemble, can I edit the ensemble to not generate that low freq?
You can download the Reaktor ensemble from here
Thank You for the reply!

Bit of a brute force fix but I put a 4 pole HP on the output that you can adjust (top left corner). I'm sure others will have a more elegant solution!

And what about DC offset? It might be miscalculated as subharmonics, I guess.

Thank You for the editing! I think it will do the trick, thhis 4 pole HP seems remove the low frequency pleasant way.

I don't know is this a part of the design, but in the end it generate this low freq as I mentioned which is just steal the headroom of the sound.
Edit: I did some test again with highpass on or off and I can hear some minor difference in the high freq range also,so maybe the low rumble make some harmonics in the top of the spectrum also.

Here is a good DC offset core cell by salamanderanagram hacked by colb.
Try to use it at the end of the line. Connect it behind the effects. It's without any controllers.

@versusliveact My guess is, that it is not subharmonics, but DC offset. Better to remove DC offset than to use hipass filter.... Have a look at it in time domain, if it is centered around zerro axis, or has a offset to either side.
Or just try what Paule suggests.

Thanks for all suggetions and for Paule about the DC offset core cell,I think I will do this way with highpass filter,my knowladge is very basic in Reaktor,I can do some basic connections and modifications, but not that deep to investigate the cause of the dc offset.

but not that deep to investigate the cause of the dc offset.
It's easy to connect wires to dc offset and from that to the output.

Yes,thank You,I did that with DC offset core cell what You posted, and it's working.
it is based on highpass filters as I checked.
I meant searching the reason in the 'time domain' what Kubrak said, but maybe I missundurstanding that.

What I meant was to verify in time domain, that there is DC offset. And not some kind of subharmonics...
I did not mean to search for the source of problem in time domain. One would have to analyze the Reaktor ensemble to find the source of problem.
