Sync drift issues with Kontakt7 in Ableton Live11

Long notes loops or sequences of anything from the play series won't sync properly and it becomes really obvious after a couple of bars. Ex.: If I have 40's very own drums and I load the preset called Queen Alley Kit and I record the note C3 for 35 bars. The kit will play the pattern but after 32 bars the sync will be delayed at least half a beat. If I turn off external sync in Kontakt and I set up the tempo at the same bpm as Ableton Live everything works perfectly. But I cannot have tempo changes in my track with this workaround. Anything in play series like Ignition Keys, if I turn on the sequence, ends up with the same drift. If I play the notes without recording the midi notes, it plays really smooth. But it's not as smooth when you hear the playback. I compared with other Kontakt libraries from third parties and some of them are ok and some of them are not. I tested Damage 2 from Heavyocity, Orbit and Elysium from Wide Blue Sound and the sync is perfect. But DM307 from Heavyocity won't sync properly.

Am I the only one with this sync problem?

And since the last update of Kontakt, any preset I have saved within Komplete Kontrol won't open in Kontakt (message: your version of Kontakt is too old).

    Hey Ed, we also found out that the issue will not be there with certain tempos...I could reproduce the issue in Kontakt as well, not only in Komplete Kontrol, the developers are aware of this issue with some DAWs but there is no fix in view at the moment.

    @Ed Wolski Well, I can reproduce the issue with 40s Own Drums and reached out to the devs to see if it was a known issue or not. I'll get back to you as soon as I get more info.

    @Jeremy_NI Thank you very much!

    I found another workaround. When I load the library with the Kontakt plugin directly it is ok. This is only happening when using the Komplete Kontrol plugin.

    Thanks again!

    Any news on that? The problem is not only with the Play Series instruments, but also with some Factory Library 2 instruments (for example Vintage Drum Machine). On Reaper 7 it's impossible to work at many BPM values: as far as I tested, 60, 80 and multiple of 25 are all affected and the time will go out of sync suddenly after bar 33, while at 120 BPM the time will slowly drift out of sync (but also in this case after bar 33, it seems).

    @maxdis Look if your DAW's sample rate is set to 44100 or something else. When my sample rate was set to 48000, the drift thing happened. The issue is not there when the sample rate is set to 44100. It's the only workaround I found, It's a ****** workaround but it works.

    @Ed Wolski Please get in touch with our Kontakt specialists so they can look further into it and enhance their bug report or create a new one if needed: http://bit.ly/NIsupport_kontakt

    Seriously? I work with Ableton 11 and have this issue with Kontakt 7 and KompleteKontrol in EVERY Plugin from NI. I have noticed this issue almost a year ago with upgrading to Kontakt 7 and I was asssuming that this will be fixed somewhat soon.

    I think this is kind a pain in the... and frankly a quite a thing spending thousands of euro for NI-stuff and apparently have to live with not in sync working plugins from NI.

    This also happens in Reaper. Another severe bug that's just ignored for over a year. Apparently NI can't even get a simple sequencer to work properly at different sample rates in 2024. Congrats.
