Did you tried to force close NA? Some times ago it did happen that installations might seem like stuck, but once NA was closed and reopened they were already installed
Yes, I tried everything I could think alas to no avail. I do think that when I first tried to move to an external drive, I wrongly changed in preferences, content, to somewhere that couldn't be found by NA. Thank you if any more thoughts occur I would be grateful
