What should a new Komplete Kontrol S61 come with?
I just bought a new keyboard and the only thing in the beat up box was the keyboard. No paperwork, no cables nothing. Should it?

The USB cord is in a cutout in the side of one of the foam pieces. The paperwork is in a pouch on the side of the box. They don't have plastic protectors on the screens.

Nothing as in nothing? Just the keyboard moving freely in an empty box?
I found a new one in our office and here's what it should look like when you open it
Just like @RedwardMc said, the cable is in the foam on the side and the papers tapes to the box (front or back).

No. Where did you buy it? Did the box look already opened?

Yes. The box was either opened in shipping or maybe before. It was heavily damaged. Looked like it was dragged. The keyboard was remarkably, fine. No USB cable & no software. No paperwork.

Also there was no plastic on the small clear display screens. Usually there is a clear static cling protector.

Return it, and demand a refund. Or a new keyboard. You should get new goods, not B-stock. Especially when there is so obviously stuff missing which should be part of the box content.

thankyou everyone. I’m not sure where this Amazon seller got this, but it’s going back. Full price and it came like this with only the keyboard. All your help appreciated. I’ll buy direct asap.
