This has been happening for a while now, i tried several browsers but both the same problem...
Cal, this is a test only with over 8 mb accepted in a 7 zip container.
Using Fire Fox 97.0 windows.
Cheers Paule, when i download your .7z .... it gets auto saved as a .bin??
So i can't test it, not sure whats going on.
Cal, I just dl my 7z from here.
All dl is fine and the ens works good. Do you own the program 7 zip?
https://www.7-zip.org/
I think its this device, it does its own thing cause its 'smart'. It does other stupid stuff like add on an extra extension to jpgs.
Nothing i can do cause its hardwired. But 7zip just reduces the size a bit... the library can take like 900mb, so it should not be necessary... have to find other solution.
Hey Paule i found a .7z to try, and its a file type thats not allowed. So it didn't work, i just got a pop up message saying no.
The U/L is the only place this problem occurs, i can upload albums to bandcamp, archive.org, attach in emails etc...
Any more ideas?
Cal, U/L don't accept 7z - rar or zip as compressed files only - in this forum 7z is a new suffix to accept.
The compression rate is higher than rar.
Myself move the file over the comment box and paste
Last month I want to paste an .rcc macro and got this answer:
Now you can see witch extensions (suffix) are allowed in the new forum
Ok, thanks Paule... just so its clear, it is the user library that gets jammed with ens, zip, ins . Anything over 6mb gets hung.
Well If there is no fix i am gonna have to make a dummy zip for the library, and post a link to a thread here i guess.
Cal, my last upload to U/L was TSM 6 - size 88 mb - 3 weeks ago.
Yes, i used to be able to upload large ensembles aswell. So it must be a compatability issue with the new device.
