Since installing Kontakt 7 player no access to kontakt 6 full version in KK

I use komplete 13 standard.

Since i had install (for a check) kontakt 7 player, i have just acess to a restricted list of intruments, in demo mode (it works 15 minutes).

I cannot open kontakt 6 full version in komplete kontrol and have an access to the full list of instruments and third party instruments.. (Only Kontakt 7 player is present in the instruments list)

Note that i already have an access to kontakt 6 in Maschine but i have to navigate in the menu : "+" / "VST3" / "Native instruments" / "kontakt"

(He dont appears in the left browser)

Yes i think so. But you have to paid for K7. And loose all your K6 project.

I working on this trouble with NI assitance.

Just have to wait until they find a solution.

NI has stated that KK loads only the most current version of Kontakt as the default and thereby bypassing K6 license and that they are looking at this issue. And NO, owning K7 does not solve the issue. I own it and K6 won't load in KK per below...

That said, K6 still can be loaded standalone in the meantime and presumably has everything just as your expect it. I imagine that is your only choice unless they update KK to allow both versions to be loaded somehow. Alternatively, you can uninstall K7 and everything will revert back to normal as far as I understand it.

Thank you for that answer. I have already uninstalled K7 player.

Only the standalone version uninstalls.

The VST mode of K7 remains present.

I use Kontakt with Kompete Kontrol for KK's built-in arpeggio mode.

If there is a solution to remove the VST version of K7 I am a taker.

THE best solution would be an update from KK.

It is, in my opinion, a bug of integration of K6 in Komplete Kontrol.

K6 opens perfectly in Maschine and Studio One 6 pro. I hope NI is paying attention to this situation.

Yes, you can delete it. you will find Kontakt 7.vst3 in location below. Once you delete it your KK plugin will revert back to Version 6.

I ever try this solution.

But i don't have the Kontakt 7.vst3 file in this folder, i got only kontakt.vst3.

I don't understand . :-/

You can go into preferences>Plug-ins>Locations in Komplete Kontrol Standalone and check where it was installed. It should be there in the VST3 folder...and it you can't find it go into file explorer in Windows and do a search of your C Drive for the file name. It is there somewhere or it wouldn't be working right?

I, also, already do a scan. Hers's no Kontakt7.vst3 file present in my system.

Only a Kontakt7 folder is present at: user/AppData/Local/NativeInstruments, folder who contain sub-folders.

i do not delete this yet. I waiting on a NI assistance remote session.

Gonna give u the back up of this session asap.

Yes, you shouldn't delete anything in AppDATA. Good Luck.

The remote session is done.

We remove the file "kontakt factory Selection" from: c: program files/Common files / NI /Service center

I got now an access to Kontaktwhen i use the thumbail browser.

I still haven't an access if i want to use the tree structure menu (see image in message #2).

That's no matter for me. The important thing is that i can use Kontakt and his third party instruments in komplete kontrol.

Maybe NI will resolve it with a future version of komplete kontrol.

I project to get komplete 14 if NI makes summer sells in june 2023.
