Hi, it's a blatant no, in the shape of an instant crash, standalone or plug-in.
Is it a matter of sending off crash logs and giving up or are there any real workarounds?
Cheers
David
Guitar Rig 5 was discontinued when Guitar rig 6 was released. It was already not supported after Mac Os 10.15 (Catalina). Since it is not developed anymore, it will not be made compatible to M1.

Thanks Jeremy. It's not the main reason I bought Kontakt 6, so no biggie. Not much point in it being part of the package though if it's discontinued.
I'm not sure what package you mean. Guitar Rig 6 replaced Guitar Rig 5 in Komplete 13 two years ago. If you get Komplete Start nowadays you get Guitar Rig 6 Player.
I ended up buying Kontakt 6. I hope I should not have bought Komplete Start. I only needed an upgrade from Kontakt Player to play some free sounds. The guitar rig was going to be a bonus really.
So, just checked out Komplete Start. Thank you for guiding me there. Lots of free stuff and Guitar Rig 6. I assume it's free now cos I bought Kontakt 6. Either way it's a bonus. Have a great day. 😁
Komplete Start is free and you get it when creating a NI account! 🙂
Upgraded to Mac M1 with OS Ventura. Now Guitar Rig 5 only operates in Logic Pro in demo mode. My password is not recognized and Native Instruments support has been useless. I'm not your biggest customer but now I am one less.
@MFT I see no licence at all on your account. If you have the serial at hand or another account where it's attached you can contact our registration agents here: https://bit.ly/NIsupport_RA
I don't know what channel you used to contact us but we have a dedicated support, you can find a link on this very page:
