No power TRAKTOR S4 controller

So I hade the common issue with usb port breaking and it needed to be replaced. I replaced port and thought I did a decent job, now it dont even power up. Even if I didnt do a good job soldering wouldn't still power up at least, or does it need usb signal to power up??? Thanks
